BVB Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe Upgrades the AVLC-System with Trapeze ITS, a Subsidiary of Constellation Software’s Trapeze Subsidiary

Toronto, Ontario, Canada, April 20, 2010 – Constellation Software Inc. (“Constellation”) (TSX: CSU) announced today that Trapeze ITS, a leading provider of solutions for public passenger transportation and an operating company within Constellation’s Trapeze Operating Group, has signed a significant contract with BVB Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe (“BVB”) of Basel, Switzerland.

The solution for BVB includes an upgrade of the existing automated vehicle location and control system (AVLC) to the latest in control center technology, depot system solutions, and onboard units.

BVB is the regional public transportation provider for the greater Basel area transporting more than 123.5 million passengers on an annual basis with about 300 vehicles covering 265 million kilometers per annum.
